Minnesota Architect’s Lien Attorney

Minnesota Architect’s Lien

In order for an architect to insure that they are paid for their services, they are able to retain the work they have done until they receive payment. Architects are also able to file claims under mechanic’s lien statutes for preparing plans or supervising construction of said plans. Therefore, because it’s the only collateral they have against the person receiving their services, an architect has the right to retain their work until they receive payment.
